1945 - 1946 Studying at the International People's College, Elsinore, Denmark. Learning Psychology, Danish and English.

1947 - 1950 Learning drawing, art history, ceramics at the Royal Academy for Fine Art in Copenhagen.

1952 - 1958 Gaining diploma in sculpture with D.A at the Edinburgh College of Art. Also studying design painting and art history.

1958 - 1960 Postgraduate travelling scholarships from Edinburgh College of Art and Danish State (Denmark, Italy, Sweden, France) Studying ceramic sculpture, its technology and history.

1967 - 1984 After having previously attained both Danish and Scottish art teaching diplomas I taught art and craft mainly at Portobello High School near Edinburgh. Also having adult classes and giving lectures to the Scottish Arts Council and other institutions.

1971 Elected as a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors
